Honor Flight New England Missions and Goals

| Mission Statement: |
Transport America's veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices. |
| Goal: |
Helping every single veteran in America, willing and able of getting on a plane or a bus, visit THEIR memorial. |
| Priority: |
Top priority is given to America's most senior heroes — survivors of World War II and any veteran with a terminal illness who wishes to visit THEIR memorial. The program will naturally transition to Korean War, Vietnam War and all other veterans who served, on a chronological basis. |
| Philosophy: |
Since America felt it was important to build a memorial to the service and the ultimate sacrifice of her veterans, the Honor Flight Network believes it's equally important that they actually get to visit and experience THEIR memorial. |
| Motto: |
“We can’t all be heroes. Some of us have to stand on the curb and clap as they go by.” - Will Rogers |
As we welcome 2010 and put 2009 behind us, I would like to truly thank all of you that have made Honor Flight New England the success that it has become.
The collaborated efforts of all of us over the last 8 months have allowed us to overcome the challenges that we have had to deal with, making it seamless to those that have been impacted by what we do.

Among our other accomplishments:
Honor Flight New England has been featured in the Union Leader, Nashua Telegraph, Portsmouth Herald and several other periodicals through out New England; we even had a picture of our veterans on the cover of the New York Times
We have been on several radio stations, local TV shows, news broadcasts, and have made many personal appearances to many groups across New England.
We have had almost 5000 website inquires.
Please know that you have helped to impact the lives of so many in an immeasurable way.
Looking ahead, we currently have over 100 veterans on our list, and our first fight of 2010 is scheduled from Manchester on April 18th.
I do not have words that can express my appreciation for your kindness, generosity, and the love that you have shown to our veterans and for our cause.
THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU THAT HAVE MADE IT HAPPEN! I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO 2010 AND HOPE TO AT LEAST DOUBLE THE NUMBER OF VETERANS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE A DAY THAT THEY WILL NEVER FORGET AND MAY GAIN CLOSURE TO WHAT THEY EXPERIENCED SO MANY YEARS AGO.
WITHOUT ALL OF YOU, IT WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE.
THANK YOU!
I am eternally grateful,
Joe Byron
